I guess I don't mind if the price of nudes goes up... it might just lessen the gap between nudes and costumed dolls and well, then, I might as well buy a costumed doll...

I had a thought, the nude price at the Dragonspace show may have been higher than the latest nude price because it was a show, and galleries usually charge the artist a large commission, sometimes they get half the sale price, I think.

I don't think so. I remember when I did some research on buying A.I, I found out how much she cost at the Strychnin Gallery and how much she cost if I bought her directly from Marina. The difference in price was around 350 USD.

Considering the starting price of Lily and the price of the DragonSpace nudes, I don't think it's unreasonable for us to assume that from now on, custom nudes will cost around 3600 USD (or 3950 CAD).

As far as on topic, I think many of us (myself included) had our hopes built up pretty high, only to have them dashed by the prices; and disappointed hopes are depressing. But it passes, as everything does.
