I have some update "most wanted ED props / accessories" that I think every rightful owner should have at their disposal!!
- an array of miniature treats and cakes. Frothy cupcakes, tarts, sweets.. (like the sort Biscuitbear always has her beautiful girls posing with) - mini marie-antoinette style tea sets (have I already said tea sets before?) to put all those yummy cakes on!! - opening / closing fan - like the one Lolita and Lily posed with - I still haven't been able to find a decent dainty parasol. - hand mirrors, compact mirrors, tiny hair combs - and the internerd in me comes out : a mini laptop!!!!

Mayple, there is a book: Porcelain Doll Artistry, Volume 1, by Karen Buttigieg, available from Seeley's (and probably other places). It shows how to make parasols and folding fans. The projects are scaled for a large antique porcelain doll, but they could be reduced. The parasols are revamped from purchased, metal-frame parasols, but the fans are made from scratch.
I made a lace parasol for a 27cm Obitsu doll with a larger size paper parasol--the kind used as party favors. I peeled the paper cover off and substituted lace. It's pretty fragile, but it works. A metal frame would definitely be better, though. |

I remembered this, too.
Tiny accessories in several sizes are available from Cat's Paw. They have etched brass folding fan sticks (you add the lace), tiny brass combs, purse frames, etc. Their web address is: http://www.catspawonline.com/ I wish I'd remembered it earlier, but what we laughingly refer to as my mind is going... Anyway, I think you'll like this place.: |

I'll have to have a look too!!!
Jayne - you could get them for your doll, the one you're making :-) And then she'll just have to relinquish all of her worldly posessions when the ED arrives :-D
